Artelia Foundation

Since 2006, the Artelia Foundation contributes to the group’s social role through the very nature of the assignments that it finances, most of which have a focus on sustainable development. It also helps play a social role among our employees, by enabling them to identify a potential financier when they are involved themselves in projects that meet the Foundation’s criteria, but also, and above all, by offering them the opportunity to donate their skills to the people who need them the most.

Submit a project

If you wish to present a project to the Foundation, feel free to contact the Foundation Manager initially before filling in the project submission form, which can be downloaded from our site. Do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions about the projects supported by the Foundation, filling in the submission form, or our administrative procedures.

22 projects supported in 2011

Thanks to voluntary contributions from Artelia employees, studies relating to the company’s core business are performed free of charge at the request of partners. The Foundation gives preference to long-term partnerships based on mutual trust.

It may also offer financial support. While such projects must reflect an expressed need, be supported locally, and be partly funded by the beneficiaries, it is equally important that they be socially innovative, economically sound and environmentally responsible, in order to promote a vision that helps all the stakeholders to grow.

Noteworthy projects supported by the Foundation include La Voûte Nubienne (construction of vaulted mudbrick houses without wood or sheet metal in the Sahel region of Africa), Les Enfants du Mékong (organisation of teaching modules to help underprivileged Cambodian students meeting in a naturally air conditioned building) and Interval (creation of modular timber houses made from local materials by people on a back-to-work scheme).
