Artelia’s 2010 turnover was in excess of €300m (€300.7m). This figure marks continued strong growth and exceeds by 3.8% the cumulated 2009 turnover of Artelia’s two components, Coteba and Sogreah. Fees represent the major proportion of turnover (€266m in 2010). The group’s full-time workforce exceeds 2600, including over 1500 engineers and PhDs. The group’s teams are divided among some 100 sites, comprising 35 offices in France and 60 in 40 other countries.

International activity (total subsidiaries and exports of the three sectors) represents 31% of the group’s fees.


Public / private sectors

Artelia’s clients come from the public sector (government departments, local authorities, international funding agencies, etc.) and private sector (industries, developers, construction companies, banks, etc.).

Breakdown per ACTIVITY sector

In line with the new organisation, activities relating to urban water and the urban environment have been incorporated into the “Urban Development and Transportation” sector. “Multi-Site” activity, an original and important niche activity for Artelia, is given special mention.

Breakdown of international turnover

Thanks to the group’s presence in 25 countries, its European activity represents 42% of its international turnover. Africa (largely the Maghreb countries), Asia (mainly Vietnam) and the Middle East are other areas in which the group is strongly represented.
