Artelia is announcing that it has become a majority shareholder in the engineering company Principia, specialized in marine studies, in particular concerning fixed and floating structures for offshore activities. Principia, which has 100 employees, supports its major industrial clients around the world through its offices in France, Malaysia and Australia. As one of the top ten marine engineering companies worldwide, the Artelia Group acquires 66% of Principia's shares, thus demonstrating its ambition:

  • to develop its offshore activities, with a rapidly growing offshore wind energy market in France and internationally,
  • to expand the scope of its maritime activities in the Middle East and Asia Pacific, by joining forces with shareholder NPCC (National Petroleum Construction Company) based in the United Arab Emirates,
  • to reinforce its naval defence activities, including alongside Naval Group which has historically been shareholder of Principia and remains a strategic partner for the future,
  • to reinforce its position as a partner in innovation, Principia's strong point, especially with its industrial customers. »
