River and maritime works involved in phase 2 of the development scheme

Context & Issues

The Bouregreg project is broken down into five development phases.
Artelia is in charge of developing the structures included in phase 2 of the project entitled "Assaha Al Kabira", which concerns the section between the Moulay Al Hassan and ONCF bridges.
 

Project characteristics

• Marina with 200 docking rings on the left bank of wadi Bouregreg downstream of the Fida bridge
• Protection of the banks on either side of wadi Bouregreg using rockfill structures between the My El Hassan and Fida bridges, over a distance of 1900 m
• Protection of the right bank downstream of the Al Fida bridge, over a distance of approximately 1580 m.
