The Bay of Saint-Tropez area lies on the coast of the Var department between the cities of Toulon and Fréjus Saint-Raphaël.
There are a number of evident climate, air and issues in the Bay area:

Energy strategies
Artelia is involved in energy-related preliminary studies in several respects:
- helping local authorities to draw up their air, energy and climate strategies: in France this takes place in the framework of statutory mechanisms such as Regional Climate-Air-Energy Plans (PCAET) and Positive-Energy Regions for Green Growth (TEPOS/TEPCV),
- performing assessments and assisting with the definition of national climate policies (post-COP 21) and supporting the funding of projects/programmes in other countries (clients: funding agencies, international financial institutions),
- performing carbon assessments of activities (businesses/ local authorities) and projects/programmes.
