Clichy-Batignolles development zone

ZAC Clichy-Batignolles
Context & Issues

The ZAC Clichy Batignolles is a 54-hectare eco-district. It includes the construction of 3,400 housing units, 140,000 m² of offices, 69,000 m² of shops, leisure, culture and public facilities.

In addition to these programmes, the Direction Régionale de la Police Judiciaire and the Palais de Justice de Paris represent 120,000 m² of floor space to the north of the ZAC. The Palais de Justice de Paris will be housed in an emblematic 160 m building designed by the architect Renzo Piano.

The district is organised around a 10-hectare park. It is being built in three distinct phases to accompany the different phases of the district.

Technical constraints: railway rights of way, extension of line 14 (two stations in the ZAC), redevelopment of line 13, heating network, installation of a pneumatic waste collection network, extension of the T3.
