Over the past decade, the hotel sector has had to take account of the many changes occurring in society. It has had to adapt to the development of digital technologies and their increasing importance in everyday life, take into consideration sustainable development objectives, face the challenges of alternative types of accommodation available in the sharing economy and meet customers’ new expectations, in particular with regard to conviviality, originality and customised services.
The international centre of excellence and innovation ARTELIA Hospitality was created as a result of these upheavals.
It was set up in 2013 by the Artelia Group, specialists in project management and engineering, to provide the most effective help possible to those working to change the hospitality sector. Whether they be investors, developers, owners, operators or architects, Artelia offers a broad array of services ranging from strategic consultancy to project management and multidisciplinary engineering.
The project consists of an elongated building comprising:
Refurbishment of all rooms, public areas, and maintenance and technical facilities, whilst maintaining the architectural characteristics of the buildings in accordance with their status as historical monuments.
The project, which is located at the heart of the tourist resort of Taghazout, 18 km north of Agadir, consists in building a five-star hotel.
The Sheraton Hotel Group provides luxury hotel accommodation across 71 different countries. It’s busy Heathrow Airport hotel required refurbishment to update the look and provide a more modern and functionally designed space.
