Water conveyance for supplying water to Sinfra and Gagnoa

Water conveyance for supplying water to Sinfra and Gagnoa
Context & Issues

The objective of the “Sinfra-Gagnoa drinking water supply” project is to increase drinking water production capacity in Ivory Coast, in and around the cities of Sinfra and Gagnoa in particular.

It involves installing drinking water lines running from the river Bandama, in Zambakro, to supply the towns located along and in the vicinity of the road between Zambakro, Sinfra and Gagnoa.

In the long term, the project involves changes to the distribution area, with an initial area for the first phase and a larger area for the second phase. It also makes allowance for changes in drinking water needs by the years 2025, 2030 and 2035.
