d\u2019infrastructures publiques, Meridiam intervient sur la r\u00e9habilitation et l\u2019am\u00e9lioration la Transgabonaise, un axe routier strat\u00e9gique pour le Gabon, mais fortement d\u00e9grad\u00e9 en raison du manque d\u2019entretien et de l\u2019augmentation du trafic. En respect de ses engagements ESG, Meridiam a fait appel \u00e0 un consortium pilot\u00e9 par Artelia pour r\u00e9aliser l\u2019\u00e9tude d\u2019impact environnemental et social (EIES) de son elementor-size-default\">CONTEXTE &amp; ENJEUX<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-3f6973b7 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"3f6973b7\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>La route nationale 1 est un axe majeur qui relie Libreville, la capitale, au reste du pays. \u00c0 l\u2019issue d\u2019un parcours de 680 km, d\u2019ouest en est, elle permet de rejoindre Franceville, la troisi\u00e8me agglom\u00e9ration du Gabon. Certains tron\u00e7ons ce cette route sont fortement d\u00e9grad\u00e9s, notamment \u00e0 proximit\u00e9 de Libreville (trous, orni\u00e8res, ouvrages hydrauliques et sanitaires d\u00e9fectueux, tron\u00e7ons r\u00e9tr\u00e9cis, etc.), entravant la fluidit\u00e9 et la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 de la circulation.<\/p><p>Le projet lanc\u00e9 par Meridiam consiste \u00e0 r\u00e9nover la route dans son emprise existante (2&#215;1 voie) avec, selon les tron\u00e7ons, le renforcement de sa structure, le bitumage des sections endommag\u00e9es, la r\u00e9novation du syst\u00e8me de drainage, l\u2019am\u00e9lioration de la signal\u00e9tique\u2026 Trois types de profil sont envisag\u00e9s (zone urbaine, travers\u00e9e de village et zone rurale) avec une vitesse maximale autoris\u00e9e de 80 km\/h en zone rurale et de 50 km\/h en zone urbaine.<\/p><p>En partenariat avec Biotope et la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 locale Geouide, Artelia a consult\u00e9 et inform\u00e9 les parties prenantes tout le long du trac\u00e9. Nos \u00e9quipes ont pilot\u00e9 une campagne de mesures (pollution de l\u2019air, niveaux acoustiques, analyse de l\u2019eau, de sols et de s\u00e9diments\u2026) et mod\u00e9lis\u00e9 les nuisances avant et apr\u00e8s le projet. Le consortium a \u00e9galement men\u00e9 des enqu\u00eates communautaires et des sondages aupr\u00e8s des m\u00e9nages sur l\u2019ensemble du trac\u00e9.
