technologies de tri et d\u2019incin\u00e9ration des d\u00e9chets ont conduit la m\u00e9tropole grenobloise \u00e0 remplacer son centre Athanor vieillissant par une nouvelle infrastructure.<\/p><p>Capable de traiter jusqu\u2019\u00e0 50 000 t\/an et incin\u00e9rer jusqu\u2019\u00e0 <br \/>165 000 t de d\u00e9chets, celle-ci sera nettement plus adapt\u00e9e \u00e0 la prise partir des ann\u00e9es 1970 pour r\u00e9pondre aux probl\u00e9matiques croissantes de d\u00e9chets, les installations de tri et d\u2019incin\u00e9ration ont connu de nombreuses \u00e9volutions, dict\u00e9es \u00e0 la fois par la croissance des volumes \u00e0 traiter et une r\u00e8glementation de plus en plus exigeante (s\u00e9paration et recyclage des d\u00e9chets, gestion des fum\u00e9es et r\u00e9sidus de combustion). Tr\u00e8s repr\u00e9sentatif de ces \u00e9volutions, le centre de tri et d\u2019incin\u00e9ration Athanor de Grenoble, cr\u00e9\u00e9 en 1972 et d\u00e9j\u00e0 transform\u00e9 en 1989, est aujourd\u2019hui vieillissant. Sept collectivit\u00e9s intercommunales du bassin ont donc d\u00e9cid\u00e9 d\u2019investir dans de nouvelles installations, plus adapt\u00e9es aux enjeux actuels (automatisation et protection des op\u00e9rateurs, prise en compte de nouveaux objectifs environnementaux, baisse attendue du recours \u00e0 l\u2019incin\u00e9ration\u2026).<\/p><p>Artelia participe \u00e0 cette op\u00e9ration qui comprend la construction sur le site existant d\u2019un nouveau centre de tri et d\u2019une nouvelle unit\u00e9 d\u2019incin\u00e9ration et de valorisation \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique (UIVE). Les deux projets devront \u00eatre men\u00e9s sans interrompre l\u2019activit\u00e9 du site dont les installations anciennes seront ensuite d\u00e9mantel\u00e9es.
