d\u2019une initiative lanc\u00e9e en 1998, le GIP Loire Estuaire conduit diff\u00e9rentes op\u00e9rations pour am\u00e9liorer la compr\u00e9hension et permettre une gouvernance \u00e9clair\u00e9e de ce fleuve. Il conduit des op\u00e9rations d\u2019acquisition, de mutualisation, de valorisation et de diffusion de donn\u00e9es environnementales, en animant un r\u00e9seau de partenaires. L\u2019objectif est de constituer et transmettre une expertise sur la Loire estuarienne.<\/p><p>Artelia est r\u00e9cemment intervenu dans le d\u00e9veloppement d\u2019un mod\u00e8le 3D hydros\u00e9dimentaire et qualit\u00e9 des eaux de l\u2019estuaire du fleuve, comprenant 3 mod\u00e8les compl\u00e9mentaires. Il s\u2019agit d\u2019un outil op\u00e9rationnel n\u00e9cessaire \u00e0 l\u2019accompagnement de nombreux projets sur le territoire : impacts des \u00e9volutions morphologiques du fleuve sur le fonctionnement environnemental ou les usages, effets li\u00e9s au changement climatique, projets de recherche\u2026 La Loire charrie en effet des s\u00e9diments, qui se concentrent dans l\u2019estuaire, \u00e0 la confluence entre les eaux du fleuve et la mer. Cette zone charg\u00e9e en mati\u00e8re en suspension constitue un bouchon vaseux, un ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne cl\u00e9 pour la compr\u00e9hension du fleuve, qui \u00e9volue au rythme des mar\u00e9es et des d\u00e9bits du fleuve.<\/p><p>Calibr\u00e9 sur l\u2019ann\u00e9e hydrologique 2018-2019, pour laquelle de nombreuses mesures in situ \u00e9taient disponibles, ce mod\u00e8le a d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e9t\u00e9 exploit\u00e9 pour de nombreux projets. Il a notamment permis, durant les mois d\u2019\u00e9tiage, d\u2019\u00e9valuer les concentrations en mati\u00e8res en suspension au droit de la prise d\u2019eau potable de Mauves-sur-Loire qui alimente toute la M\u00e9tropole de Nantes.
