Il comprend un barrage de 1 500 m de longueur, un d\u00e9versoir, une centrale hydro\u00e9lectrique et diff\u00e9rents ouvrages auxiliaires de transformation et de transport ENJEUX<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-5e3e50af elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"5e3e50af\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Comptant parmi les pays o\u00f9 le taux d\u2019acc\u00e8s \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 est tr\u00e8s faible, l\u2019Ouganda d\u00e9veloppe depuis plusieurs ann\u00e9es ses capacit\u00e9s de production en misant essentiellement sur l\u2019hydro\u00e9lectricit\u00e9. En 2013, la cr\u00e9ation de l\u2019am\u00e9nagement hydro\u00e9lectrique d\u2019Isimba a \u00e9t\u00e9 initi\u00e9e en ce sens. Son importante puissance nominale (183 MW) devrait permettre d\u2019augmenter tr\u00e8s sensiblement (&gt;20 %) la production d\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 nationale. Responsable de la r\u00e9alisation de cet am\u00e9nagement, l\u2019entreprise chinoise CWE en a confi\u00e9 la supervision \u00e0 un bureau d\u2019\u00e9tudes indien qui n\u2019a pas tenu ses engagements. En 2018, elle a alors fait appel \u00e0 Artelia pour reprendre et mener le projet \u00e0 son terme.<\/p><p>D\u00e9j\u00e0 plusieurs fois sollicit\u00e9es pour ce type d\u2019intervention (barrage de Bagatelle \u00e0 l\u2019Ile Maurice, de K\u00e9bir en Tunisie\u2026), nos \u00e9quipes ont repris la totalit\u00e9 du pilotage du projet, avec un chantier d\u00e9j\u00e0 bien avanc\u00e9. Au c\u0153ur de l\u2019am\u00e9nagement se trouvait un barrage en enrochement, \u00e0 noyau argileux, avec paroi moul\u00e9e et injections, de 1 500 m de longueur. L\u2019ouvrage devait aussi servir de pont, ouvert au transit des camions, pour relier les districts de Kayunga et Kamuli. Artelia a men\u00e9 \u00e0 bien le projet de barrage, la construction de la centrale hydro\u00e9lectrique (\u00e9quip\u00e9e de quatre groupes Kaplan de 45,8 MW de puissance unitaire) et des infrastructures \u00e9lectriques (41 km de lignes).
