2014, Port R\u00e9union a initi\u00e9 une r\u00e9flexion et d\u00e9finis des actions concr\u00e8tes en faveur de la gestion des risques naturels et technologiques, de l\u2019\u00e9cologie industrielle, de la protection de l\u2019environnement en lien avec le r\u00e9chauffement climatique et les imp\u00e9ratifs de pr\u00e9servation de la biodiversit\u00e9. Il s\u2019est ainsi dot\u00e9 de diff\u00e9rents documents-cadres (plan d\u2019am\u00e9nagement et de d\u00e9veloppement durable, sch\u00e9ma directeur du patrimoine naturel\u2026). Il poursuit aujourd\u2019hui cette r\u00e9flexion en l\u2019orientant plus particuli\u00e8rement vers l\u2019adaptation au changement climatique.<\/p><p>En raison de sa situation g\u00e9ographique, Port R\u00e9union est en effet expos\u00e9 \u00e0 de multiples al\u00e9as oc\u00e9ano-m\u00e9t\u00e9rologiques\u00a0: houles australes, \u00e9pisodes cycloniques, \u00e9rosion du trait de c\u00f4te\u2026 Avec le changement climatique, notamment l\u2019\u00e9l\u00e9vation du niveau de l\u2019oc\u00e9an et l\u2019intensi\ufb01cation des ph\u00e9nom\u00e8nes cycloniques, l\u2019exposition du port \u00e0 ces al\u00e9as est amen\u00e9e \u00e0 cro\u00eetre. Le Port a donc fait appel \u00e0 Artelia pour l\u2019accompagner dans la formalisation d\u2019une strat\u00e9gie d\u2019adaptation \u00e0 cette \u00e9volution, en tenant compte des cons\u00e9quences directes (dommages aux ouvrages) et indirectes (pertes \u00e9conomiques par exemple).<\/p><p>Nos \u00e9quipes ont accompagn\u00e9 les autorit\u00e9s portuaires dans l\u2019\u00e9laboration d\u2019une trajectoire d\u2019anticipation des cons\u00e9quences du changement climatique \u00e0 la fois \u00e0 court, moyen et long termes.
