Artelia and Artelia Canada join forces at CDA 2026

From October 25 to 28, 2026, Artelia and Artelia Canada will take part in the Canadian Dam Association (CDA) Annual Conference & Trade Show in Halifax, Nova Scotia, bringing together their expertise in dams and water infrastructure.

Sharing expertise at a key event for the dam community

The CDA 2026 Annual Conference & Trade Show is expected to bring together more than 450 dam operators, regulators, consultants, suppliers and academics from across Canada and beyond. The event will feature technical sessions, interactive workshops, networking opportunities and technical tours, with a shared focus on advancing the safety, reliability and sustainability of dams.

For Artelia and Artelia Canada, this major industry gathering will be an opportunity to meet with dam professionals, share experiences and discuss the current and future challenges facing the sector.

Artelia will also contribute to the conference programme. On October 27, Arnaud Vandel will present “Damspot – A Tool for Revealing Hydropower Potential” during session 4C2, sharing Artelia’s expertise in identifying and assessing hydropower opportunities.

Bringing together French and Canadian expertise

The joint participation of Artelia and Artelia Canada reflects our ambition to strengthen collaboration and knowledge sharing between our teams.

By combining complementary experience and expertise from both sides of the Atlantic, our specialists contribute to addressing the challenges associated with dam safety, resilience, performance and sustainable water infrastructure.

Throughout the conference, our teams will have the opportunity to engage with the wider dam community, exchange perspectives and build new connections with professionals from Canada and beyond.
