Artelia is continuing to develop, making significant advances in the creation of turnkey onshore wind farms and floating farms.
OUR SERVICES
It is working with a number of onshore wind farm developers, performing preliminary studies, proposing turnkey solutions, providing design services, supervising construction, or acting as technical expert. New skills have been developed to address key issues such as turbine base construction, and the analysis of acoustic aspects.
Artelia provides a broad portfolio of services that are crucial to the deployment of offshore wind farms: environmental studies, physical and economic potential studies, the design of port infrastructure and offshore electrical substations, protection for the foundations, submarine cable stability, and landfall.
Through its subsidiaries Dr.techn. Olav Olsen and Principia, Artelia is also contributing to efforts to improve the different types of offshore wind turbine foundations (jackets, monopiles, floats), and has designed several prototype floating turbine structures in concrete or steel.
