A major logistics player in Asia, Cainiao has chosen Artelia to assist with the development of its infrastructure. In Vietnam, in the new Phu An Thanh industrial park, our teams have built six warehouses (120,000 m2) that meet the client’s priorities, i.e. high flexibility (for future automation) and a good level of quality at a reasonable price.

CONTEXT & ISSUES
As a developer and operator of high-quality logistics solutions, Cainiao is strengthening its presence in Vietnam, where it already provides services and warehousing facilities in the provinces of Dong Nai and Long An (PAT Logistics Park, Dong Nai Logisitics Park). Cainiao chose Artelia to develop its new site in the south of Vietnam, in the Phu An Thanh industrial park. The project involves the creation of 6 separate warehouses (with a total surface area of 120,000 m2), which can be converted into boxes ranging from 4,000 to 10,000 m2.
With extensive experience in this type of facility, Artelia Vietnam carried out all the architectural, civil engineering and structural studies, as well as designing the mechanical, electrical, fluid and fire-fighting systems for the 6 warehouses. Our teams paid particular attention to the homogeneity and flatness of the slabs to avoid the creation of pockets of stagnant water. They also managed the permit applications and prepared the technical tender documents.
