Construction of the Duo Towers in Paris

An architectural monument with top-of-the-range performance

Located close to the Seine, this complex of two monumental towers with a total floor area of 106,000 m² is the third tallest building in the capital after the Eiffel and Montparnasse Towers.

Artelia has contributed its extensive expertise in high-rise buildings, BIM, general coordination, technical expertise and certification to this ambitious project.

CONTEXT & ISSUES

The Duo towers were developed by Ivanhoe Cambridge with Natixis Assurances as co-investor and Hines France as delegated project manager. The complex comprises two towers, East (180 m, 39 storeys) and West (122 m, 27 storeys), with a total floor area of 106,000 m², including more than 97,000 m² of office space. Duo Ouest includes a hotel, restaurant and skybar at the top.

Artelia managed the construction of the towers, ensuring compliance with very demanding specifications. The two towers meet the highest standards in terms of user comfort, health and well-being (WELL Platinum), and are expected to achieve exceptional environmental and energy performance under LEED Platinum, HQE Exceptionnel and Effinergie+. They have also been awarded WiredScore certification, attesting to the connectivity potential of the complex and its pioneering positioning with regard to new ways of working.
